1. Acceptance of Terms

NAJM Press, a regional magazine serving readers in the United Arab Emirates, provides news and editorial content through the Site. Your access to and use of the Site constitutes your agreement to comply with and be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies posted on the Site. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes indicates your acceptance. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Uses

  • Post or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, invasive of privacy, obscene, pornographic, abusive, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or that promotes violence or illegal activity.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, NAJM Press’s aggregate liability for direct damages arising out of or connected to these Terms shall be limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to NAJM Press in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred UAE dirhams. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless NAJM Press and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

8. Termination and Access

NAJM Press reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or suspected unlawful activity. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will remain in effect.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
